Setting Up a Job Feed for Job Postings
FlexJobs’ preferred method for receiving automated jobs feeds is via an XML formatted document. As an employer, you can deliver your XML document to us by one of the following three methods (listed in order of preference):
Option 1. Save the XML document on your own web server, where FlexJobs can retrieve the file via a simple http(s) request. You will need to provide FlexJobs with the appropriate URL to retrieve the file.
Option 2. Save the XML document on your own ftp server, where FlexJobs can retrieve the file via an ftp request. You will need to provide FlexJobs with the appropriate ftp host name, file name, and user credentials to retrieve the file.
Option 3. Deliver the XML document to a FlexJobs ftp server. FlexJobs will provide you with the appropriate URL and user credentials to deliver the file. You will need to provide FlexJobs with the file name.
NOTE: These are our only available feed delivery options. At this time, we do not have the capability to “scrape” jobs from your html job sites.
