Hiring the best talent out there is a no-brainer for any employer. But where exactly are the ideal job candidates? How does an employer set out to find them? RolePoint, a social recruiting suite, created a fun (and informative!) infographic designed to help employers recruit top talent, wherever they may be.

Here are four tips for recruiting top talent:

1. Write your way to success.

Sure, you’re busy running your company, but failing to write quality job descriptions can hurt you in the long run. Not only might you get more unqualified job applicants applying for the position, but if your job descriptions aren’t clear, you stand the chance of losing the audience you’re truly trying to attract—such as the A-list talent.

Case in point: 82% of job seekers think that seeing how their potential job fits into the overall structure of the organization is very important. So before you dash off another job description, take the time to flesh it out. Include clear qualifications and educational requirements, the benefits and salary range, the company’s mission statement, where the role fits into the company, and a call to action.

2. Make it mobile.

If you thought that everyone was checking job listings on their home computers, think again. Today’s job seekers are mobile, and they value the convenience of job hunting on the go. About half (44%) of people said that they use their mobile device for work more than 20 times a day, especially remote workers.

So naturally, job seekers are also using their devices to find a job—literally. One-fifth (20%) of job seekers would drop a job application if they couldn’t fill it out on a mobile device, and 23% wouldn’t apply for a company again if they had prior issues filling out an online application. That’s why employers who want to hire high caliber talent should make the online application process an easier one through mobile optimization.

3. Refer your way to success.

Employee referral programs can help bring the best talent out there to your organization. More than half (63%) of companies have a documented employee referral program, which might explain why about one-quarter (22%) of all hires come from employee referrals, which makes them the top source for hires.

And if you’re looking for employee longevity, referred employees are the way to go—56% of those referred have been in their current job for more than five years.

4. Show your commitment.

Many job seekers don’t just want to clock in at a job but rather grow with a company. That’s why 59% of people changed jobs for better opportunities and a stronger career path, according to the infographic. Help attract the best talent by showcasing your company’s investment in career development.

You can include this info in job descriptions, or in your company’s social media messages. Another option is to cite examples of how your business has invested in its workers by adding it to your company’s website. Then, take the next step and offer educational and advancement opportunities as part of your daily business doings. Offering not just a job but professional development will attract the best and brightest to your company.
