Using an interdisciplinary approach, The AI Education Project incorporates STEM concepts with project-based learning and the humanities to help students understand how AI and automation will affect their jobs prospects; how algorithms influence hiring, access to credit, and healthcare; and how students can thrive going forward, even without a background in computer science. aiEDU supports teachers and students by providing self-guided, flexible lesson plans using game- and project-based learning and offering real-world applications that show how AI affects everyone, “no matter our job or education.” The organization’s pilot program was successfully launched at high schools in Ohio and Florida.
