Headquartered in San Francisco, California, the California Dictionary Project is a non-profit, all-volunteer organization that focuses its efforts on providing dictionaries to third graders in low-performing Bay Area schools. Established in 2002, the California Dictionary Project's goal is to increase and improve the literacy of students in schools and cultivate a love of reading in them.
