Furthermore, programs sponsored by the Center support a variety of environmental issues, from protecting endangered species and their wild habitats to protecting the oceans, urban wildlands, environmental health, and sustainability. As a nonprofit organization, the Center operates thanks to grants and generous donations, as well as support from 1.1 million people across the globe.
