Founded in 1967, Datalogics was an early participant in the document technology business and today provides this category of solutions to software developers, which gives them the ability to get their products to the market more quickly and with superior PDF capabilities. Headquartered in Chicago, Illinois, Datalogics was purchased by Frame Technology Corporation in 1993. Frame Technology Corporation was then purchased in 1995 by Adobe Systems, who proceeded to spin Datalogics back off as a private, independent company.
