Eastern Massachusetts Abortion Fund provides financial assistance to women seeking help paying for abortions. Based in Cambridge, Eastern Massachusetts Abortion Fund has worked since 1999 to ensure that women who life in or travel to eastern Massachusetts have access to abortion procedures. A volunteer-run organization, Eastern Massachusetts Abortion Fund has helped more than 4,000 women gain access to abortion as a matter of "social justice, reproductive justice, economic justice, fairness, and human rights." One of more than 100 abortion funds across the U.S., Eastern Massachusetts Abortion Fund is part of the National Network of Abortion Funds, a community of local and grassroots organizations. As an employer, Eastern Massachusetts Abortion Fund has offered part-time and remote jobs in the past.
