Located in San Diego, California, I Love A Clean San Diego – ILACSD was originally called the San Diego War Against Litter Committee upon its establishment in 1954. During the 1970's, the organization used the slogan I Love A Clean San Diego and adopted the new name in 1980. As an organization that promotes environmental education and awareness in San Diego County, I Love A Clean San Diego utilizes outreach initiatives, encourages community involvement, and leads by example in its efforts to conserve resources, reduce and recycle waste, enhance communities, and prevent pollution.
