The Japanese Community Youth Council (JCYC) is a nonprofit organization focused on child and youth development that was first established in 1969 to provide Japanese youth in San Francisco, California's Nihonmachi neighborhood with an activities center and a space to address their concerns. Today, JCYC is still focused on serving children and youth from diverse, multicultural communities within and beyond San Francisco, and its mission is to help them realize their full potential and enrich their lives.
