Located in Grand Rapids, Minnesota, MacRostie Art Center is dedicated to advancing the work of professional artists in the community and encouraging the public to recognize, appreciate, and celebrate art. Founded in 1960, the MacRostie Art Center was originally established as a painters' club. Today, the MacRostie Art Center presents exhibitions, conducts workshops and classes, and hosts festivals, lectures, and other activities as ways to engage the community. Visitors to the MacRostie Art Center are able to view the exhibitions free of charge. As an employer, the MacRostie Art Center has offered part-time work opportunities in the past.
