Saga Education provides transformative, high-quality math tutoring for underserved and at-risk students in urban middle and high schools. The nonprofit organization was founded in 2014 with a mission to change lives by motivating and empowering students. Saga Education helps its students develop problem-solving skills, build confidence, display a greater effort, and improve academically. Saga Education delivers quality math tutoring during the regular school day, at no cost to students' families. Its dedicated team of Saga Fellows each commits to a 10-month tutoring term in one of the program’s partner locations. While each of its partner sites may offer some unique features and services, all locations are united in the organization’s values to be results-driven, relentless, growth-minded, humorous, and collaborative.
