Since 1959, the Summer Science Program - SSP has offered students "the educational experience of a lifetime." One of the world's oldest programs of its kind, and the only one funded and managed by its own alumni, the Summer Science Program was established to encourage bright young Americans to study engineering and science in college. After its first few years in operation, SSP began welcoming students the world over.
