Teaching Lab was inspired by the Core Task Project, an award-winning teacher leadership initiative formed in Reno, Nevada, that grew from just 20 teachers to over 1,000 in a mere three years. Now an expanding national movement of teacher leadership, Teaching Lab was formed from Student Achievement Partners, through which it created similar education models to support the work of educators in Louisiana, West Virginia, and Washington, DC. Today, the organization builds content expertise and local leadership to sustain growth and development in egalitarian education systems nationwide.
