Located in the campus of the University of Pennsylvania, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, the Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts brings together regional audiences for programs in theatre, music, and dance. Established in 1971, the Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts has been a destination for several touring programs, as well as the venue for Dance Celebration, a top dance series; a Student Discovery Series, bringing artistic experiences to school children; and the annual Philadelphia International Children's Festival. Current students, as well as alumni, from the University of Pennsylvania are eligible for discounts tickets to events and are encouraged to get involved in discussions and lectures related to performances at the Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts.
