The official youth football development partner of the NFL, USA Football supports both the NFL Players Association and the NFL’s 32 teams. As the International Federation of American Football’s sole member, USA Football manages all U.S. teams for international competition. A nonprofit organization, USA Football was endowed by the NFL Youth Football Fund and is based in Indianapolis, Indiana. USA Football is also a member of the U.S. Olympic Committee and acts as the sport’s “national governing body.”

Founded in 2002, USA Football represents players, including amateur, youth, and high school players, coaches, league commissioners, and game officials in all 50 US states. USA Football provides training opportunities for youth coaches, supports high school and international football leagues, and provides generous financial support to equipment purchases for youth sports. Dedicated to advancing all aspects of the sport, each year, USA Football holds nearly 100 football educational training events for game officials and coaches, resources for youth football league administrators, and skill development workshops for players. Partnering with athletes and key players in the child advocacy and medicine fields, USA Football strives to ensure that all players have a positive experience with the sport.
