The Yellowstone to Yukon (Y2Y) Conservation Initiative is a joint U.S.-and-Canada nonprofit organization that connects and protects habitats from the greater Yellowstone to the Yukon so nature and people can thrive. The organization has connected with over 500 partners throughout the region, including local government and community groups, conservationists, scientists, First Nations and Native American communities, and ranchers and other landowners. As an employer, Y2Y has supported flexible work in the past by offering full-time, hybrid remote jobs, with some roles requiring travel. Current Y2Y initiatives include making Highway 1 in Alberta safer for wildlife and people and studying the grizzly bear movement in Bow Valley in Alberta to help understand how development and recreation decisions and trends impact grizzly bears in the region.
