Woman Finds Telecommuting Job to Help with Retirement Bucket List

Today’s featured successful job seeker wanted to have more flexibility during her retirement to travel with her husband and fulfill her bucket list, so she found a great flexible retirement job.

When it comes time to retire, many people find that they still need another income stream. Whether it be part-time or full-time, having a retirement job is common today. Juli from Ft. Wayne, Indiana, had a part-time job teaching but realized she wanted to find something with more flexibility so she could enjoy her retirement. She found FlexJobs and landed a new position as a behavioral coach with AbleTo!

Juli began searching for a flexible, telecommuting retirement job when she and her retired husband bought an RV condo lot at a resort in Traverse Bay, Michigan. “My husband is retired, and I am semi-retired and was working as an adjunct nursing instructor at a community college,” Juli said. “We both wanted more time to be able to travel up north, so I realized I needed to see what I could find that offered me more flexibility.”

Since Juli found a job that allows her the flexibility to work from anywhere, she is able to travel with her retired husband and enjoy life together. Within one day I had an interview for the position I wanted. In two days, I had a second interview and the next day I was offered the position. ‘WOW’ is all I can say!”
