Richardson Bay Audubon Society & Sanctuary, located in Tiburon, California is an environmental center and wildlife sanctuary located on the San Francisco Bay shoreline. Comprised of 900 acres of submerged land and 11 acres of upland, Richardson Bay Audubon Society & Sanctuary offers a habitat for migratory waterbirds who travel the Pacific Flyway, as well as sanctuary for a range of other wildlife that are native to Northern California. Founded in 1958, Richardson Bay Audubon Society & Sanctuary is an affiliate of the National Audubon Society, and is dedicated to its mission of conserving and restoring the region's ecosystems by "inspiring and educating [the] community with a focus on youth."
