United Way of Hastings is a nonprofit, community-based organization that works in collaboration with like-minded organizations and individuals to provide social service programs that support education, health, and financial stability. Formed in 1964 as United Fund with a goal of identifying and addressing the most pressing needs of its community, United Way of Hastings now operates as one of more than 1,700 United Way chapters worldwide. United Way of Hastings offers programs and services to residents of Minnesota’s Independent School District #200, which includes the communities of Hastings, Miesville, Hampton, New Trier, Welch, and Vermillion, Minnesota, as well as parts of Washington County.
