Girls on the Run of Montgomery and Delaware Counties is an experimental, nonprofit organization encouraging young girls to develop healthy lifestyles and self-confidence. Founded by Tracy Ashdale, Girls on the Run of Montgomery and Delaware Counties is a branch of the international GOTR organization headquartered in Lower Gwynedd Township, Pennsylvania. Since 2007, the nonprofit has served more than 6,000 elementary and middle school girls with support from volunteers, partners, and sponsors, such as Wells Fargo, Target, and Whole Foods Market.

By leveraging the power of running, Girls on the Run of Montgomery and Delaware Counties educates and prepares young girls for healthy lives of self-respect. GOTR of Montgomery and Delaware Counties offers Girls on the Run and Camp GOTR to girls in grades three through five, as well as Heart & Sole for girls in grades six through eight. These programs consider "the whole girl—body, brain, heart, spirit, and social connection," and help participants gain a better understanding of who they are, build friendships, grow confidence, and establish healthy habits.

In the past, Girls on the Run of Montgomery and Delaware Counties has posted part-time jobs for individuals with strong communication and interpersonal skills. Model applicants are passionate about helping girls achieve their limitless potential.
