Big Brothers Big Sisters (BBBS) of Central Mass & Metrowest is one of 270+ local affiliates of Big Brothers Big Sisters of America, a national nonprofit on a mission to "ignite the power and promise of youth" through strong, professionally supported, one-on-one mentorships. Established in 1963, the chapter has been supporting children in its community through individualized mentorships for over 50 years. To carry its mission into the future, BBBS of Central Mass & Metrowest has needed new, qualified professionals for part-time jobs in bilingual, human services, HR & recruiting, and nonprofit & philanthropy. The employer cultivates an inclusive culture and is committed to recruiting and retaining a diverse workforce and volunteer network. Additionally, it believes in achieving excellence through innovation and staff development.

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Mass & Metrowest focuses its efforts on kids who live in poverty, come from single-parent households, or face other types of adversity. To help these children achieve greater confidence, educational success, better relationships, higher aspirations, and avoidance of risky behaviors, the organization facilitates positive, safe mentorships between child "Littles" and adult “Bigs.” Engaging with Littles in activities like doing homework and attending sporting events, Bigs offer a consistent adult presence in the lives of mentees, helping them celebrate their successes, face challenges, and reach their full potential. Guided by values of empowerment, transformation, and opportunity, BBBS of Central MA & MW supports these mentorships through programs, resources, and strong partnerships with members and organizations of the community.
