BBBS of NYC has been operating for over 110 years as a founding member of Big Brothers Big Sisters of America. Established in 1904, the organization today reaches over 4,000 youth each year with the support and guidance of one-on-one mentorship. Overseen by program managers, these relationships between caring adult mentors, or Bigs, and children, or Littles, result in the advancement of the social-emotional development and academic progress of young people across New York City's five boroughs. These mentorships are also supported with evidence-based, goal-centered, and professional programming and resources.
